Woodland retreats, foraging & nature-led meditations 2024
Explore your natural state and connect to Nature
Our events for this year are booking up fast and are all delivered in an inclusive, gentle and profound way with qualified and experienced instructors with extensive experience of working in well-being with young people and adults.
Woodland Bard Retreats
Explore your natural wild self unbound by society conditioning and unplugged from technology.
The easiest way to go on retreat today is simply to unplug from all devices, draw the curtains and sit and be, this is enough and its benefits are incredible. Deep meditation only comes from silence and a lack of stimulus, it is simple and requires no special equipment and is available to all.
However if you wish to explore the profound and deep stories of the untamed countryside and learn woodland skills in a gentle and supportive environment you may wish to join us on retreat this May and July.
Learn to light a fire, forage for food and medicine and explore the incredible wealth of stories that connect us to our own special patch of land.
Meditation Sessions
Our meditation sessions are gentle, profound, effective and helpful for many people. Our Nature-led meditations have helped people with anxiety, ADHD and autism empowering people to simply BE content with who they are and the life that they have.
The sessions are designed to restore your connection with nature and to bring healing to yourself and the land to which we all belong.
Woodcarving and well-being
I run a series of workshops on whittling as well as an unwind in the woods day retreat where you make a simple spatula and spend the afternoon in a warm yurt exploring meditation and nature connection practices.
FORAGING, FIRE AND FOLKLORE
"Awe inspiring! I don't know of anyone else who can hold my attention for so long... What a superb evening. Thank you Jonathon Huet."
A series of seasonal events, each one a special experience of wild food foraging, Celtic fire and folklore. I will take you on a guided walk to forage for wild food and impart knowledge on different native trees in each season.
The walk will end with a primitive fire-lighting demonstration and you will experience a Celtic Fire Ceremony around the glowing embers of the fire and learn the folklore of native trees.
Each event is designed to help you connect with nature, switch off from modern life demands and deepen your understanding of native plant folklore.
